Take Time for Yourself
To find mental peace and reduce stress, you need to take time for yourself. If summer is approaching in your part of the world, take the opportunity to spend time outdoors. This has been proven to reduce stress.
If music helps you relax, listen as often as you can. Prayer, mindfulness, and meditation are also great restful pastimes to reduce your stress and take time out. Above all, go easy on yourself. Accept that some things are simply out of your control. You’ll never do everything perfectly hard as you may try because like beauty, perfection is in the eye of the beholder. Accept these facts and stop giving yourself a hard time. Don’t lose the ability to laugh at yourself and others – this goes a long way toward eliminating stress.

Get Enough Sleep
Stresses compromises the quality of sleep – everyone knows that. Poor quality or insufficient sleep in turn makes you more stressed. It’s a catch 22 if there ever was one. It is a vicious cycle that makes the body go “out of whack” and then it’s only a matter of time before you get sick.
Doctors may recommend eight hours of sleep, but the truth is that it depends on the person. Ideally, you will feel rested when you get up and full of energy. That’s when you know you’ve slept enough. When you get sleepy in the evening, try to fall asleep without any mobile devices or electronics in the bedroom. Wake up feeling rested. Do it all over again the next day.
